It is a wonderful experience to be a part of this project. We are trying our best to serve these children but lack of resources and other limitations ties our hand. But we are always helpful and committed to give our best to the society by preserving the innocence and tender childhood of these children. I am very glad to be a part of enthusiastic team of TAABAR.

I never thought that I ever would be a part of this project. Earlier I was working on HIV/AIDS issues. I used to travel in the train but I never noticed these children and took it like other people due to hectic schedule of work and hurry to catch the train. But I came into contact with TAABAR member and it was the turning point of my life which motivated me to join the TAABAR. Fortunately I got an opportunity to work with TAABAR. I cannot imagine myself without parents even I get scared when I think about the lost of my children in this world so I put my best efforts to repatriate and reunite the children in the society with their families. Though it is very tough reunite them even sometime seems impossible task but we never loose courage and we keep moving ahead with enthusiasm despite the number of problems.

I am serving with TAABAR as a coordinator for kitchen project at BAL BASERA (transit home for street children). I never thought and felt that the children could be in such a painful condition. I cook for these children and serve them breakfast lunch and dinner with all the care and affection. I also help in repatriation process. I can not explain in words that Moment when a child meet with his family. I like my job very much because fortunate people become a part of this type of noble work. I work at Migration information Centre. We are striving towards preservation and protection of the street children and TAABAR cover the every aspect of the life of street children by disseminating the information and reaching them through health camps, mobile clinic etc.

I was blank before joining the TAABAR that there is a community who is living in miserable conditions. I could never imagine the life of children without their family and parents. But when I joined TAABAR as a craft teacher, I was shocked to hear the stories of these children and I decided to give my best to these children so that they could stand in front of the society. TAABAR is making honest efforts to prepare them as a good citizen. I feel very happy when a child is repatriated or reunited with the family. I thank to TAABR for giving me such a nice opportunity to serve with these kids.

It's totally a different experience to work with the children of TAABAR. I felt while working with TAABAR that every child has potential and it needs a right direction and guidance. To bring out this potential every child needs special care and protection otherwise this potential could be diverted in destructive manner. The children of TAABAR children learn quickly and present their own problem through plays and Nukkad Nataks. "Theatre" is the medium which gives voice to these speechless children and TAABAR understand the significance of theatre so it is being used by TAABAR as an instrument of social change.

I am working with TAABAR as a house mother beside this I help in kitchen project. I try to give lots of care and affection to these children as they have lost their parents and forgotten the meaning of love and affection. On the street they become victims of every type of abuse. They are hated by the society it results into the disorganization of their personality. Hence I try my best to be a mother in real manner and I am very thankful to TAABAR for giving me such a great work of experience.
