Here they are cared for, given nutritious food and enough rest with the facilities just like home.

Psycho socio counseling aims rehabilitation and reintegration of the street children. Here we provide regular counseling sessions to cope with the stress and pressure of the daily life. The street children are helped to come to terms with their fears, hopes and dreams, they are encouraged to speak out their problems and given a sympathetic listening ear.

Along with formal & informal education BAL BASERA is providing vocational training courses, which are linked to viable local income generating opportunities.

The daily life of street children is likely to be full of dangers, pressures and stressors. Children frequently turn to substance use and other risky behaviors to cope with these circumstances and to fit into the street culture. Street children need to develop healthier, more constructive coping strategies. Life skills could enable the street children to be assertive, to think critically, and to develop self awareness and self esteem.

BAL BASERA is providing formal and informal education at TAABAR's school. As most of the children have had little or no education, the teacher also teach them basic education on how to read and write and prepare them to be enrolled into regular schools so they can become the part of our main stream society. The children who are willing to continue their studies are enrolled in the schools.

Art & craft TAABAR
organizes Art & craft related activities to develop their skills and creativity in positive manner.

BAAL BASERA provides its inmates enough time for entertainment by providing the facility of indoor games, watching television etc.

When they first come, many children are affected with various ailments and infections and need to undergo medical check ups and treatments to be cured of the same. BAL BASERA is providing medical care and treatment for their different type of ailments and infectious diseases which they get while living in unhealthy and hygienic living conditions on the street and public places. Children brought from the streets need to unlearn habits picked up from the streets.

Just like other children of the society TAABAR takes care of their social and cultural needs. They celebrate their birthdays, festivals and take participate in cultural activities which are held at BAL BASERA and some time they perform outside of BAL BASERA.
